My reason for running for a seat on the Atascadero School Board is to serve the community that has given me so much. I, as did my great-grandfather, grandfather, and father, graduated from Atascadero High School. I went on to graduate from Cal Poly SLO with a degree in Fruit Science. Today I assist my family with our ranching and farming business where we raise commercial beef cattle, farm hay and wine grapes, and operate a small family winery. I also own and operate an agricultural fencing business, and I maintain a California Contractors license and a Qualified Applicator License from California Department of Pesticide Regulation. I am a husband and father of two girls who also attend Atascadero Schools. My wife Jessica, (also an Atascadero High graduate), and I have stayed active coaching and supporting many youth sports teams, as well as 4-H programs. I would consider it a great honor to represent you on the Atascadero Unified School District Board of Trustees.
